Hey There, It’s VoN
An unusual introduction.
Jun 28, 2023
No, I wasn’t named VoN at birth. My dad probably took one long look at me, saw my ears, and decided to name me Obioma. It means “Good Heart” in the Igbo dialect here in Nigeria (sorry to disapoint the tailors).
For whatever reason, I’ve decided to have a blog on my website, and why not? I have way too much to share. The personal discoveries, the odd ways of achieving things, and the tears I’ve shared when that div just refuses to be centered.
Of course, I will do my best to make this part of my website tech-inclined, but trust me, I have so many things that are not tech-related that I love. I love poetry. I love literature. I love art. I love feeling my pen on paper as I sketch out a character. I love the pang on my chest and the stirring of tears in my eye when I pen down a moving, sad poem. And good Lord, I love music. I even have a couple of originals that have never failed to drive Kelvin crazy whenever I decide to sing them out loud. Kelvin is my younger brother. He loves music just as much as I do, but clearly couldn’t care less about my beautiful songs. His loss.
I am a front-end developer, and recently, coding has been a huge part of my life. It is by far one of my favourite things. I can’t believe people do this for a living and earn good money from it. It’s way too exciting. The possibilities are literally endless. I am on a journey of self development as it relates to web development, and I want you to have a share in it. Be a part of it. I just created a YouTube channel where I will do my best to share my knowledge with whomever happens upon it.
And for now, this is all from me. This wasn’t supposed to take this long, but then again, I talk too much. See you on the next blog post, and welcome!
